Ross Park is located directly across Sandgate Road from Toombul Shoppingtown.
The majority of this park passed from the old Toombul Shire to Council upon formation of Brisbane City Council in 1925.
It was part of August Rode's original land grant in 1851. Later it became part of Carrington Estate on a map from 1917. No further information is currently available regarding subsequent conversion to parkland.
Landfill to a depth of twelve metres was placed in Ross Park between 1940 and 1950. A purpose built skate and roller blade facility was constructed in 1995.
