GFPT

The GFPT will enable the holder to fly with passengers within the training area which encompasses Stradbroke Island and Beaudesert. You will learn to fly a Cessna 150 which is a high wing two seater aircraft.

There are examinations to be passed prior to obtaining this first licence, namely, Radio, Air Legislation (Rules of the Air) and Basic Aeronautical Knowledge (BAK), but do not worry too much about these as our Instructors will help you with briefings.

This first licence can be done on whatever basis suits you. You may wish to do it full time which could see you hold the GFPT in 3 weeks. Alternatively we do recommend at least one lesson per week so you don't lose any of your new knowledge.
