You can use the textures as wallpaper, desktop patterns, etc. privately. You may not redistribute them in any other way (e.g. toilet paper, selling them on the streets, or CD covers) unless you ask, and I agree.

Clicking on one of these links will take you to an example page which uses that texture as its background. Some colours do look strange with some textures (sorry). And yes, some of these are garish; try to use subtle, small textures, especially for commonly accessed pages. Any of the textures starting with "f" should be ok. And feel free to make your own variations.
